Different ways to style a blazer

 By Upasana Sharma

There are some common outfits that we return to year after year—ankle boots, jeans, cashmere knits—and I think its high time for blazers be included in that list. The blazers were started as one-half of office-ready suits but blazers are now a layering piece and can be worn to so many occasions than just a board meetings.

1) The blazer over a crop top look.

This stylish outside work outfit with an all-black look paired with a white coat and low bun hairdo is the best fit to wear for a casual look. This look is all you need when going for a shopping spree or just a small after-office get-together with old friends.

2. The long leather coat look

Worn by many celebrities like Gigi Hadid, it is the new look in town. She wore it with an all-white outfit and white sneakers with a black purse but you can style it in many other ways. Any pastel color top with a comfy pair of jeans and matching shoes paired with a long and loose coat thrown over is the perfect outfit for a casual lunch or dinner with friends or family or just a small get-out for me time.

 3. A knee-length dress with a blazer look

This look is for all the girls who love to wear dresses but can't when going somewhere out with your family or relatives because of its thin sleeves. So this look is a savior for such situations. You can simply just put over a blazer and you are ready to go. For a winter season look, you can also wear skin-fit leggings under the dress and it's a different look altogether.

4. The classic traditional plaid blazer look with a modern twist.

This look is for the evening get-together and long walks in the park or country roads. In the place of heels, you can also wear a comfy pair of shoes with a roughly open hairdo and you are all set for the evening. The twist in this look is the broad leather belt for a chic look.

5. Blazer looks with joggers.

Combining comfy pants with a blazer is pretty much the peak 2022 aesthetic. But styling this look is the tricky part. Here Stick with pants that cinch at the ankle rather than flare at the bottom. For the blazer, it's all about finding the one that's neither too fitted nor too loose. Finish with a loose t-shirt or a crop top with some easy footwear if you are going for a walk otherwise, you can also go with a pair of high heels so a more catchy look.
